Highway Overtake - Car Racing

The gameplay loop itself is fine: upgrade cars and income over time and complete simple time check races as your car improves. A basic but fun game that does what it says on the box. 2 stars is because of the ads. Every time you win a race, progress a certain distance etc you have the option of watching an ad to boost your rewards, which is fine. However, every time you turn down that ad-based reward, you're instead forced to watch a mandatory ad. Forces ads when turning down rewards.

It's fun, progression in it is nice. Sometimes, crashing into vehicles seems inevitable during races. I do enjoy the customization for the cars and then getting a new one after 8 races. Biggest thing I hate is.. you play for 15-30 seconds, get a reward with the option to watch an ad thatll make the reward actually worth it..then you watch the ad for 60 seconds, hit the X, watch whatever they have play after the ad for another 10-13 seconds.

The game has a handful of bugs, some of which break the game and force you to restart the app. Besides that, it's a good time waster. EDIT: After playing for a few days, the amount of bugs that require you to close and reopen the game have grown far too much. I'll just randomly get a pop-up asking if I want to watch an ad for a boost. However nothing in the pop up works, so you just need to randomly close the game if you want to continue.
